Job description
As a member of the People Team this role will be focused on the cross functional support of our People Partner team. They will focus on the development, refinement and execution of our employment, performance management and compliance processes. They will have the opportunity to help the company create actionable plans to enable an amazing employee experience. Help collect and analyze data and work with the team to identify employment trends. Keep up to date on national employment law best practices and changes and help the company stay compliant. Work with team members to answer employee questions and coach Managers on performance management. Actively contribute to people team projects and initiatives.
What You'll Do..
- Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day people questions for the functions/team members that you support and for the specific projects that you are responsible for leading.
- Partner with the People Business Partners and People Ops Teams in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations
- Assist with all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, offboarding and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
- Identify and implement new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the People Ops Team and Dutchie as a whole, and to improve employee experience
- Lead and participate in Talent Management projects as necessary
What You Bring..
- 4+ years of experience in a growing people organization
- Passion and experience creating equitable people practices for a rapidly growing company
- Expertise with G-Suite and HRIS knowledge preferred.
- Working HR knowledge of federal and state employment compliance policies and practices
- Resourceful, service-oriented, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Ability to drive projects to completion with limited instruction, excellent communication skills, and a people-first mentality
