Job description

Grassroots Cannabis is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to increase awareness and engagement with our brands across locations and channels in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

This is a critical role in a rapidly developing industry and market, requiring a natural collaborator who can partner with internal teams including innovation, manufacturing, sales, and retail to ensure local marketing needs are met. You'll collaborate with our corporate marketing team to develop effective and impactful marketing campaigns that support our brands and drive results.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy: Develop local marketing strategies. Develop and document a strong understanding of local market trends, regulations, shopper and competitive dynamics. Identify and ensure prioritization of key customers. Regularly review and report marketing, sales and promotional data to impact future programs.

Execution: Manage & execute product/strain launches and optimize awareness and sell-through of existing products. Identify local marketing needs including sales support materials, events, local digital and offline marketing, content and physical retail merchandising. Effectively articulate needs to marketing leadership in clear and focused briefs that clearly define local regulation and compliance considerations.

Promotion: Manage promotional calendars and corresponding marketing needs including but not limited to key promotional time periods, forces (i.e. seasonality and other local factors), and events at which Grassroots should have a presence.

Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership across the enterprise including corporate marketing, operations, sales, manufacturing, and dispensary operations.
