The Packaging Manager is responsible for the product packaging needs at R. Greenleaf. The Packaging Manager will oversee the packaging duties of the Packaging Technicians, printing of product labels, inventory packaging supplies, and storage of finished package items. The Packaging Manager works with the Inventory Manager on organizing weekly/monthly orders, based on upcoming packaging needs. This position works directly with the Post-Harvest Manager to receive material from the Post-Harvest Department and is responsible for the long-term storage of bulk material. The Packaging Manager must utilize data provided from all departments to accurately package flower with regard to packaging waste and spoilage of pre-packaged flower. The Packaging Manager must be able to communicate any issues, change orders, packaging modifications, or discrepancies that might arise during the ordering and packaging process. Inventory management of packaging supplies, products in process, and finished products must be kept current and accurate by the Packaging Manager at all times. The Packaging Manager will work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure consistent flow of packaged material to clinics with limited waste of expired product.
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
