Viola was founded by Al Harrington, a former NBA player who was a first-round pick in the 1998 NBA draft. Al went on to play for 16 seasons and became personally aware of the medicinal benefits of cannabis after suffering complications from a botched knee surgery towards the end of his NBA career. But the original inspiration for starting a company came from Al’s beloved grandmother who suffers from glaucoma and diabetes. With some convincing from Al, she reluctantly agreed to try cannabis for her pain and found immediate relief. Her name is Viola. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Packaging Team plays a crucial role in our production of high-quality cannabis products and is one of the final stages of our production line. Viola Packagers are responsible for packaging marijuana products and concentrates into various containers, rolling/preparing pre-rolls, cleaning packaging materials and tools, and ensuring product integrity of the SKU being packaged. To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have an eye for quality of precision and presentation. This position will require working on your feet and/or sitting at a high-top workstation for most of the shift, with some lifting and moving of product and large product containers.
