Job description
The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the human resources department including onboarding and offboarding, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Onboard new employees, including pre-hire process through first day of employment.
- Perform HRIS data entry and password resets.
- Administer health, dental and vision plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
- Respond to employee requests and inquiries, including assisting with interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Post job openings and provide support to hiring managers throughout hiring process.
- Maintain and organize personnel files in accordance with state and federal law.
- Offboard employees and process terminations.
- Assist with HR initiatives as needed.
- Respond to reference checks and employment verifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education and Experience):
- 4-year degree
- 3+ years' experience in Human Resources.
- Must be able to obtain MED badge.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Proficient in HRIS systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Apple OS.
- Experience with Google Drive.
- Enthusiasm for cannabis industry.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven attention to detail and organization.
