Job description
We are looking to hire a Cultivation Specialist to help us cultivate and process our cannabis in a state-of-the-art facility! This is a labor-intensive job that requires hard-work, ability to work in a team, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail. What you will be responsible for:
Following strict standard operating procedures while paying close attention to details. Even the smallest mistake can be very costly
Being flexible – We are a rapidly growing company in a rapidly growing/evolving industry. We may make operational changes quickly if needed and you will need to be able to adapt
Ability to follow direction and work well under pressure
Monitoring and documenting environmental conditions such as humidity, ventilation, temperature, soil-moisture content, etc.
Administering foliar sprays and manicuring the plants
Cleaning and maintenance of cultivation equipment
Identifying deviations outside of normal parameters and working with the team to design and implement solutions.
Work in an environment where your job duties will need to be completed in relatively high humidity, occasional duties in storage areas and sometimes temperature can range as low as 60 degrees (Fahrenheit)
Handle waste products per company policy
Maintain punctual and regular attendance
Perform other duties as assigned
What makes you a good fit:
You have relevant experience with transferable skills. Agricultural and/or production experience is a plus.
You’re an analytical thinker and a problem solver.
You have strong communication skills and work effectively in a team environment.
You’re a hard worker and can lift up to 80 lbs.
The minimum required qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and occasionally lift up-to 80 lbs.
Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to work in varying temperatures.
Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products without negative allergic consequences.
Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties.
Ability to operate trimming and packaging equipment such as scissors, knives and cutters.
Ability to stand/walk/sit for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Ability to interact with co-workers in a friendly and helpful way.
Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm
