C3 Industries is looking for an experienced Copywriter to be responsible for developing clear, compelling copy for our customers while also understanding the business objectives, voice, and strategy for C3 Industries Brands'.
Headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI. Remote applicants welcome.
In this role you will….
Develop copy along the creative spectrum, from compelling campaign lines to clear instructional messages, across a range of print and digital deliverables.
Collaborate with the internal marketing team, retail and product teams to develop campaigns and copy for in-store and digital use.
Write copy to support product and retail store launches including product detail pages, and editorial content.
Write copy and collaborate with Marketing team on content development for internal & external newsletters, blogs and social media captions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the intended audience and the message the company wants to communicate.
Maintain the strategic brand voice that strengthens C3 Industries brand, product, and retail offerings.
Partner with creative leaders and design peers to consistently raise the bar for creative development and execution.
Maintain and update copy style guides, creating new ones as needed
Audit and provide feedback to external and internal teams who create their own customer facing copy; providing coaching and documentation that enables them to uphold our voice and brand standards.
Track Project Management System to ensure designs are created within expected timeframe; collaborate with cross functional leaders to understand deadline requirements.
Closely communicate with cross functional leaders to understand current and future business demands.
Keep abreast of trends in content and style reflected on various media and marketing channels.
Skills and experience you have...
4+ years of professional experience as a copywriter in advertising and/or in-house.
A track record of attracting, retaining, and growing an audience through the use of compelling. content in brand campaigns, direct response advertising, email, and social media.
A self-starter who thrives on taking ownership of writing assignments big and small.
A strong ability to prioritize work and resources across short and long-term projects with proven ability to prioritize work over different deadlines.
An experienced understanding of the writing nuances between B2B and B2C marketing.
Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships and operate in an environment of ambiguity.
Strong results- orientation and commitment to quality, performance, and deliverables.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to influence others.
Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize and problem solve.
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
